Business Representation Meeting at BIA

Construction and business development business representatives held a regular meeting held by the Business Intelligence Agency in Tbilisi under the banner B-Talks under the name "Challenges of Construction and Corporate Vision".

The beautiful venue of the Holiday Inn was the venue and more than 100 representatives of different companies attended. Discussions included major market developments, construction statistics, surveillance information, and future market prospects. The delegates had an opportunity to exchange views, communicate with industry experts, as well as on the dynamics of key markets in Georgia.

These discussions included experts from the Bureau of Municipal Planning and regulatory authorities, both of which are essential for business firms. The BIA session provides a first-hand information exchange between regulators and manufacturers to synchronize their workflow to prevent future conflicts. Tbilisi's main program, Urban Planning Regulations, was at the center of the negotiations. In addition to insisting on questions about permits, securities and planning restrictions, businesses are given a glimpse into the city's planning ideas from the government.

The purpose of the B-Talks and BIA suites is to create the necessary coordination for a constructive and collaborative business strategy between the public and private sectors focusing on combining both players in one room. BIA has been a pioneer in the Georgian business environment that has created an information exchange space and networking opportunities.

The first B-Talks were held Feb. 2, which focused on the transportation industry and hosted more than 70 delegates throughout the year. The BIA plans to offer additional events, including transportation and construction, to the healthcare sector.

BIA is a leader in providing information and data for Georgian companies, analyzing and disseminating statistics on companies and sectors of the industry.

Tbilisi mayor Kakha Kaladze said that not using Georgian language words in public places, including publicity, posters, etc., would include heavy fines. Mr. Kaladze added: "It is worth mentioning that the fine increase bill is currently being approved by the Georgian Parliament. We have had many sessions on this issue. Not using the Georgian language is a common problem. For me and the Georgian nation Is acceptable. "
Cladze ordered the Inspectorate of Municipal Affairs to give citizens a chance to resolve these issues on April 1. The fine for not using Georgian words and script after April 1 has been increased from 2 lari to 4 lari for individuals, and will increase from 7 lari to 7 lari for legal entities, including companies and shops. "This increase was not made against a specific group of people or companies, and was purely for the sake of respect for Georgian culture and people," he added.
